Restylane is a popular treatment for wrinkles and facial lines. The procedure helps to 'fill out' and smooth away troublesome nose to mouth grooves, forehead lines, frown furrows, lipstick lines, acne pits, and crows feet.
Collagen is a natural protein that is the main constituent of skin, bones, muscles and ligaments in all mammals. Over time, the collagen cells which provide the structural support, resilience and shape to the skin, reduce in number. This causes the skin to loose elasticity, allowing fine lines and wrinkles to develop.
Treatment with dermal fillers, such as Restylane, make it possible to temporarily suspend or reverse the signs of ageing. Restylane is an animal free product and therefore requires no test prior to treatment.
